Since 1995, Trevor Sorbie's protégé and International Creative Director, Angelo Seminara has captivated clients and inspired the work of hair professionals around the world with his creative drive and passion.
He has also developed an incredible reputation on the catwalk circuit and his celebrity client list is impressive, but it hasn’t gone to his head, he maintains his gentle nature and carries with him an aura of calm.
  Angelo has always been absorbed with his work, and delights in creating new shapes and textures, constantly pushing the boundaries – seeing hair as a fabric.  Today he remains captivated by the possibilities of hair, and is adept at bringing out every client's natural beauty.
Working closely with session stylist Eugene Soulieman (also trained by Trevor Sorbie), each season Angelo is involved with at least 30 international fashion shows in Paris, New York, London and Milan, where his creations have brought him international acclaim.  Angelo is also regularly commissioned for editorial work by many of the world's leading fashion and style magazines including Vanity Fair, Italian Vogue and Mixte.
Angelo began his career as a trainee Barber in his home town in Italy.  Five years later he moved to Rome to take up a job with Toni & Guy, but he already had his sights firmly set on London, and one man in particular. 'Trevor's constant innovation was fascinating to me; I found his work so beautiful.  I contacted Trevor directly at a time when my English left a lot to be desired, but he took a gamble on me and the rest is history,' explains Angelo.
Trevor sees it differently 'I was really pleased that Angelo felt so passionate about working for me that he approached me directly. After we met and I saw his work, it was clear that he was going to be special, I didn't hesitate in employing him.'
Angelo still tries to spend as much time as possible in the Trevor Sorbie salon in London's Covent Garden, and also works creatively as the International Creative Director of the multi-award winning Trevor Sorbie Artistic Team on shows and seminars, always preferring that his hairdressing take the limelight rather than himself.
